National Youth Day 2026 Celebrations at Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan
National Youth Day 2026 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan one of the Best Cambridge school in visakhapatnam to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India’s greatest spiritual leaders and an eternal source of inspiration for the youth. Observed every year on 12th January, the day serves as a powerful reminder of Swamiji’s message of self-belief, courage, discipline, and service to humanity.
The programme commenced with a meaningful and enlightening introduction that highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s remarkable contributions in spreading the philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the world. His life and teachings continue to guide generations toward moral strength and spiritual awakening.
His iconic words, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached,” resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring students to pursue their goals with determination and confidence. In alignment with this year’s theme, “Ignite the Self, Impact the World,” the celebration emphasized that true transformation of society begins with inner awakening and self-realisation.
The campus wore a spiritual and patriotic look as students, dressed in Swamiji’s attire, paid rich homage to the great philosopher, reflecting deep respect and admiration for his ideals and values.
The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Sri M. Satyanarayana Raju garu, a renowned philanthropist, leader, and industrialist from Visakhapatnam, whose presence added prestige and inspiration to the occasion. This was followed by the auspicious garlanding of Swami Vivekananda’s statue by the Chief Guest, paying homage to the visionary leader whose ideals continue to guide generations.
One of the most memorable moments of the programme was the presentation of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Speech by Prakashite. The powerful rendition echoed India’s message of universal brotherhood, tolerance, and harmony, reminding everyone of the historic moment when Swamiji introduced India’s spiritual wisdom to the world and earned global admiration
The unveiling of Swami Vivekananda’s portrait which was illuminated through stunning LED luminous art by Prakashites was another significant highlight of the event. The portrait symbolised the timeless values of strength, wisdom, fearlessness, and character that Swamiji envisioned for the youth of India.
In his inspiring address, Sri M. Satyanarayana Raju garu emphasized the importance of self-reflection, discipline, and ethical values in shaping responsible citizens. He encouraged students to strive for holistic development by maintaining a healthy balance between academics, sports, spirituality, and service to society. His motivating words left a lasting impact on the young minds present.
